i am looking to network in central new jersey.i am a licensed contractor looking to find potential private investors..i was hoping to accomplish this through a local realestate group...any info would be appreciated...

Seems there are no REI groups in NJ for newbies or no one who wants to part knowledge to newbies.

How about we newbies get together and share knowledge we have and pool our resources and jump in to the market?

I think we all together have more resources and contacts than the so called mentors.

We can find mentors from out of state to mentor us through the process if we are a team of newbies looking for help and ready to share the bounty.

Ask any questions that you've got and we'll do our best to help you out! Additionally, its great that you're interested in starting your own group. We've got several groups meeting up around the country. Connect with your fellow Jersey investors and make it happen!

I'm a newbie investor in Monmouth County, NJ and am investing in SFRs in Trenton. Expecting to close on my first rental property next week. I'm happy to share what I've learned from this group, much of it from cool NJ'er Pete Kandra.

The South Jersey Investors REIA has a subgroup that gets close to central jersey. I would check them out and see if it covers your area. Even the subgroup that's close will have investors who know about other local networks.

I live in central jersey but invest in PA. I'm still a newbie I only have 1 property but I wouldn't mind meeting with others starting out and forming a coalition.

I am actually a member of Network 2.0 which meets in Garwood once a month. Newbies are welcome, food/dinner is served, and best of all there is no charge or fees. Excellent connections, great speakers and plenty of education. I definitely recommend them.

Looks like there is a group on BP now for Central New Jersey Investors.
