Where are you at in Chicago? I am also from Chicago(on the north northwest side) but am going to be finishing school next year. I won't be investing until I am done but just curious.

There are several Chicago investors here. There are also a few solid REI Clubs around chicagoland that meet monthly. If you need some info on them, let me know.

Well, I have a REI Club meeting in the Oakbrook/Elmhurst area the first Thursday of each month. Feel free to come join us and network on Thursday May 1st.

There are also other clubs in the area and there is a list of them on this site. Look to the left and click on Real Estate Investment Clubs under the heading of LOCAL RESOURCES.
