Code Violations Need Help!!
Hello fellow BP'ers, I live in Eugene Oregon and I'm in search of code violation leads. I went to the city today to get a list of building code violations. I spoke with a Code Compliance Inspector and he told me to send him an email of the type of violations I wanted. He would then pull the records and give the address and type of violation. Sounds great right.... but wait there is $20 min, non refundable charge, additional research time is charge of $27.50 per hour. So he advise me to narrow my search (very helpful BTW) So my question is? How can i minimize my expense. Should I limit my search to a few code violations, if so which ones. BTW they handle their case through administration and non Judicial so going to court proceeding is out of the question.
