I'm doing some research about trends in real estate publishing.
I'm curious to know:
- If you have a regular e-newsletter
- How often you release it
- Type of content (ie: articles, listings, community news..etc).
Thanks all!

I use PRINT newsletter and I do it each month.
I write on a property available and some community stuff.

That's great that you "give back" by writing about the community as well.
Thanks for your feedback!
The problem with a lot of newsletters is that it's either promoting products, webinars to promote products or promoting other peoples products.
I have yet to come across one that has 100% true to honest tips and news relating to REI.
I started a newsletter last month. It actually has tips. Of course I plug my business, website, etc. I use Constant Contact. It's great. Not only do I know how many contacts were sent my newsletter, but I know who opened them and who clicked to my website. It's awesome.
Mr_Investor. I agree. There is always some sort of pitch or plug. The key is finding the right mix of advertising and "tips"
DemosL: I've used Constant Contact before and I recommend it to all my clients. The reporting features really are awesome!
I agree, the correct balance between advertising and tips and useful info is very important.
Try and send it out monthly.
