I used Bradley Ross Law in Fischer, Ind. They did a bang up job.

www.veracitycredit.com. 70 bucks to start and 40 bucks per month for as long as you want their help. I haven't used them, but they do come with several good references.

Private Money Lender · Pleasant Hill, California

I've referred many personal clients to http://www.lexingtonfinancialservices.com and they almost always, in time get the score we need. It does take time however I like that there is no large up front cost. It is an affordable monthly service. No contract.

If you would like some direction in using them please let me know. Hope this helps!

The best way to increase your score is to do two things:
1) Get all the negatives you can off your report
2) Establish new (small if necessary) lines of either secured or unsecured credit.

Concerning the first: It's not what is true, it's what can be verified... and in the case of collection accounts, it's what can be validated. Even if a collection company has your account, if they purchased it in a " block purchase" for pennies on the dollar, and they have no direct assignment contract on your account with that creditor, if you challenge them to validate their permission to even collect your debt, they might just have to write it off. Your original contract to repay a debt was with the original lender. When they charge it off and sell it to a debt collector, who resells it to another debt collector, which is much the case these days, your contract didn't transfer to " door number 3" ...

Without validation, that debt collector has no right to either collect the debt or report your debt as " in collections" to a bureau -- which means the credit bureau cannot list it on your report.

You should always pay off your debt or settle it with your creditor, but it doesn't have to stay on your credit report.

Concerning the second: Up to three small credit cards of $300 credit limit that you keep paid down below 50% will add more to your score over 6 months than getting all the negatives off your report without new credit. But you can't expect to get a new charge card with a 630 or less FICO score, so start small, be patient and let the score reflect your new credit habits over time...

Food for thought!

I work with a credit repair company here in California that has done some great things with clients. They are working with one client right now and should have his 658 FICO to over 700 when they are done. It seems to take a minimum of 40-60 days to really see the difference on one's report when they finally get the items off.

They are using a loophole to get items off as any company that does this knows but the difference is that they offer a money back guarantee that I have not seen any others out there offer.

You might want to call them and see if you want to work with them. The owner seems to be VERY good and knows the ins and outs to getting the toughest items removed.

I will only use this company. I have used them for myself and several of my tenants that wanted to buy my rental homes. They are excellent.

www.academycredit.com

As soon as I have a new Lease to own tenant I immediately have this company begin to work on their scores so they can purchase.

They cost 125.00 Set up fee and 50 bucks a month. That is cheap and I swear by them. :superman:

Hello IAIN

Most credit repair companies out there are not what they claim to be. I have joined several of them in the past couple of years only to lose thousands of dollars. Two of the companies that I joined were run by attorneys, yet to my dissappointment the attorney seem to be more clever in forcing money out of the clients. One of these attorneys threaten to sue me $7,000 - and that's after I had paid them $3,000.
So don't be impressed just because a credit repair company claims to have attorneys working for them.

Finally, this year I am happy to have stumbled upon a credit repair that works and does what they claim. They have been doing credit repair for the past 10 years and they serve all 50 states. Astonishingly, they have zero complaints from the Better Business Bureau. They also have a live customer service number where you can call 9-5pm weekdays to answer any questions. I have called their customer service number several times and they have been very cooperative in answering all my questions.

Just to test them out, I had a friend of mine here in Boston join their service first. He too had been burned by other credit repair companies before. He paid $499 and signed up for their one-year service. He was pleasantly suprised when someone from the company called him to acknowledge his signup. They had his 3 credit reports pulled and placed in a website where my friend can review and track his progress.

In just 45 days, he called me to say his Experian score went up 29 points, and his TransUnion score went up 109 points. And that was in the first cycle of dispute. He was elated. Now I am also ready to join the service.

Since this is my first post, it seems I am now allowed to give the website addess. You can reply to me for more information.

Thanks.

You can refer people and get a $167. I use it for my lease to own buyers. I place them in the program to place them in a position to buy sooner than later.

Please do not use a credit company. What they can do for you, you can do for yourself. Dont waste your money. Beware of companies that say they can delete bankruptcies, and other inquiries. Only time can delete them, nothing else. If you want tips on how to increase your credit score, feel free to shoot me a pm or you can find out a lot and I mean alot about increasing your credit score yourself via search engines. Best of luck.

I put my tenants in a 6 step program that teaches them to analyze, dispute, and resolve their own credit issues.

For negotiations and such, I use attorneys from Pre Paid Legal Services. It's $30/month.

The best thing would be to start your own company. You should do a search with google.

Also, check with the National Association of Credit Services Organizations to see if the company you are considering is a member.

This is the only accredition that matters in the credit repair industry. There are many requirements for a company to be considered to join NACSO.

Also, hopping from company to company will not do you any good. You should choose one company and if you're not satisified, MAYBE go with a second one. After that, any legitimate company can barely do anything for you after that due to the red flags that have been implemented on your account by poorly educated companies attempting to provide credit repair services.

For example, HTDI Financial has been a leader in this industry since its inception and averages one of the highest fix/deletion rates in the industry with over 46% fixed/deleted in the first 45 days alone.

I've used http://GoCleanCredit.com when I was in the biz. They are liscensed with state banking.

You don't necessarily need a credit repair company, I believe most of the things they do can be done by the individual if they have the time!

Yes, you can repair your credit yourself, although it's not easy if you don't know much about credit and the credit bureau's

If you choose to hire a company, first do a search on google, not just by typing in credit repair, but try to type in " free credit repair analysis" and " free credit repair guides" . That way you can get free, personalized information and if you like it, you can sign up for the program that a company is offering.

Good luck :D

You might want to try these guys http://debtnegotiationzone.com I just had a client use them and they were pretty happy with them settling their collection accounts.
