I have Citizens Insurance dwelling policy on a triplex and I noticed a "PROTECTIVE DEVICE CREDIT".

Looking that up online there is a reference to it on how this credit is calculated:

PROTECTIVE DEVICE CREDIT:

Burglar = .03

Fire = .04

Sprinkler Class A = .04

Sprinkler Class B = .07

BASE PREMIUM(   ) X [Burglar Factor(  ) + Fire Factor(  ) + Sprinkler Factor(  )] =

The Burglar I assume is a central station burglar alarm.

The Fire is what?  Does a hardwired smoke/heat/fire alarm system count towards that?

The Sprinkler has two different classes A & B, I assume this is fire sprinkler systems.

I have made an inquiry to my insurance agent to see if I qualify for the "Fire" credit, the insurance agent said the Fire credit relates to automatic fire sprinklers inside the house which I don't have, so I don't qualify.  However, if "Fire" means automatic sprinklers, what are Sprinkler Class A & B?  How is it different from "Fire"?
