John grew up in a real estate family, both his grandfather and father had successful careers in commercial real estate business. He spent his summers coming to the Outer Banks to visit his grandparents in Duck and quickly fell in love with the area. After a few years selling commercial real estate in Virginia, John relocated to the Outer Banks in 2014. John and Katie have bought and sold many investment properties of their own on the Outer Banks, many of which they self managed on platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO. Katie was born and raised here on the Outer Banks and uses her background in interior design, along with her extensive knowledge of the area to help our clients narrow down their search to the best areas for them. Using our personal experience as a buyer and seller of our own investment properties, we will bring that expertise to help you buy and sell here on the Outer Banks. Our passion lies in helping investors analyze deals to find the property that works best for them and their situation - while also providing them with a network of vendors to utilize. Our lives revolve around real estate, whether working with clients, managing our own investments near and far, or designing a home - real estate is in our blood. When we are not working, you can find us and our daughter hanging at the beach, surfing, or traveling the world.

Jonathan epitomizes integrity, energy, hard work, and creative service in every detail of your real estate transaction. Jonathan grew up in the Midwest and developed his work ethic early in life; at the age of 12 he bought a newspaper route and quickly grew the customer base from 30 households to over 50. As a teenager he played a key part in his family’s real estate investment business doing renovations, property flips, and care taking. Jonathan went on to get his bachelors degree in Business Administration and started a leasing and property management company while in school to help him pay for his education.
