To change your password, you'll first need to go to the Dashboard and click on the Settings & Password link on the left of the page.

Then, just click the Password tab and you'll be able to make the change.

NOTE: You'll need to have your old password handy to make the change.

Your privacy is important to us. BiggerPockets allows members to hide their last name across our network, but does require you to register using your real first and last names. To hide your last name and show only your last initial:

1. Go to the Dashboard link
2. Click the Settings & Password link on the left of the dash
3. Click the Privacy Tab
4. You'll see a check box next to Hide my last name. Make sure it is checked and then click the UPDATE button at the bottom of the page.

If your password isn't working and you're certain that it is correct, perhaps your browser is causing the problem. Clear the cookies on your browser and try to log in again. If you're still unable to get in to your account, please contact us and provide details about what has happened. We'll get back to you right away.
