WASHINGTON (AP) -- Senators agreed Wednesday to extend a popular tax credit for first-time homebuyers and to offer a reduced credit to some repeat buyers.

Bad move. It will only delay the recovery. It may prevent it from being as bad as it could have been, but the comming recovery will be slower than it could have been.
