WASHINGTON (AP) -- Mortgage finance company Freddie Mac said it will allow some borrowers to rent out their homes after losing them to foreclosure to prevent them from falling into disrepair.

This actually sounds like a smart policy to me, given the current mass of foreclosures sitting vacant.
