This is the alcove in the living room. The old water heater was located to the left of the alcove. You can still see the old washer hookups. Those will be gone before we're done. The piping to the right is a new water shutoff so you don't have to crawl into the crawlspace if you need to shut the water off quickly. That window setting on the floor will go into the large window in the kitchen.
