Below is a comment from the Seller: We moved to Georgia in June of 2000. Our search for a new home was based on the need for excellent schools, as we had a daughter ready to start high school, and a son in middle school. They both went to Sequoyah High School, and were part of the marching band and orchestra. We also were looking for a home with more than an acre of land, not in a subdivision, and a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We found this home, and it met our needs and more. <br/> <br/> The setting is heavily wooded, and the neighborhood is very quiet, with little traffic as it is a dead end road. The fenced in yard is great for the dogs, and the additional acreage provides room for RV or boat storage, and an area we use for campfires and marshmallow roasts. The neighbors are very friendly, but also respect your privacy. <br/> <br/> A custom homebuilder built the home, with very large rooms throughout. We love all the windows, both front and back, that look out over the wooded lot. The finished basement, the pool, and the large front, rear, and lower decks were ideal for hosting our children’s graduation and birthday parties. The kitchen is becoming the primary focus of our son, the future pastry chef, who has begun utilizing the double-oven extensively. <br/> <br/> We are selling the home as it will soon be just the two of us, and we are also looking to move closer to my job in Sandy Springs. <br/>
