[...] Mashups, blogs, search, user generated content - the industry was moving fast! We went back into development mode to include as many of these trends as we could. Finally, in September, we were ready to test our Alpha version of Realivent 2.0. They included a Digg-like social bookmarking service, a BlogRoller, and a map mashup. Bigger Pockets.com was able to get an early sneak peek of our products. We had a good start, but we were’nt satisfied so we went back to refine the product and add more functionality. A few weeks later http://www.futureofrealestatemarketing.com/index.php?s=advanced&ctas_avancedsearch=true&ctas_searchquery=real+estate+voices+launch&ctas_cat_1=on&ctas_cat_2=on&ctas_cat_3=on&ctas_cat_4=on&ctas_cat_5=on&ctas_cat_6=on&ctas_cat_7=on&ctas_cat_8=on&ctas_cat_9=on&ctas_cat_10=on&ctas_cat_11=on&ctas_cat_12=on&ctas_cat_13=on&ctas_cat_14=on&ctas_cat_15=on&ctas_posts=on&ctas_pages=on&ctas_sortby=relevance&ctas_order=desc&ctas_resultsperpage=5″>The Future of Real Estate Marketing reported that RealEstateVoices.com had just released their version of Digg. This was a double whammy! Not only did we lose the social real estate news race, but as we were refining our community products, the competition also heated up for our core marketing products. The Real Estate Tomato reported that there were now 2 online listing tools - vFlyer and Postlets. [...]

Thank you for the post, we really appreciate it.

Unfortunately the site is probably in alpha state, so we have taken it down for some final testing. Should be back up in a day or 2.

To answer some questions from the post.
We do scrape CL, backpage and other sites, but CL is the majority, they get 10X the posts as other sites. We mapped the listings, added sales data, school info, and demographics. Craigslist on steroids, is the way I think of it.

The site is really for communication between realtors and the public. We have a poster similar to Postlets, but with much more functionality. This is what the beta testers are for. When I was a realtor, I built myself a posting application, and received very good results, so we ported it to an application that others can use, and we hope others have good results.
We also have virtual tours, video tours, voice commentary, etc...

Thanks again, and we will let you know when Realivent is ready for another review.
