Getting Married!

by Joshua Dorkin on October 8, 2006

Many of you may have noticed that it has been a bit quiet around these parts recently. I’ve actually had some health issues arise and was in the hospital a few times. Everything is okay now, but I have to admit I was quite scared on 2 occasions in the past week and a half.

With that in mind, I have more news . . .

I’m getting married!

This is actually not news for those of you who know me (I’ve been engaged for over a year now), but the wedding is to take place this coming Saturday, October 14, and I’ve got a few things I need to worry about this week. Consequently, my life has become extremely busy with the final planning of the wedding, and I have not been able to devote my full attention to BiggerPockets.

After the wedding, we’ll be traveling out of the country (Thailand) for our honeymoon, and I’m not sure I’ll be very focused on real estate (I’ll have more important things to focus on!). With that in mind, I will not be posting regularly here until November.

Fortunately, I have been able to get a proxy to cover the world of real estate in my place, and I’m sure he will do just fine. Give him a warm welcome when he gets going!

I hope to return refreshed and I will be making a big announcement regarding BiggerPockets after my return. If I get a chance, I’ll drop in and say hey.

Wish me luck!
