Good News For Washington ,D.C. As Foreclosures Drop

by Charles Feldman on October 17, 2006

The District may be having a hard time with all sorts of political scandals, not to mention the upcoming elections for Congress, but when it comes to foreclosures, the news is nothing but upbeat. That’s because, foreclosures from a year ago September were down in the District by 8 percent, this at a time when nationwide, foreclosures rose a whopping 63 percent in the same period of time.

Katie Wilmeth of The Examiner can tell you why this is the case.

By the way, in case you are wondering-Colorado tops the nation with 4,485 foreclosures. Maybe this is what John Denver meant by Rocky Mountain High?
