I keep calling the broker and he is making a new excuse every day while the landlord is threatening to give the apartment to someone else if we don't pay up. Please please help---my money is stuck with this broker.What ACTION CAN I TAKE ??? Will going to the police help ? Do I need to get a lawyer involved ?? Please help. Hi there,

I live in the United States and I've never heard of anything going on like this. Wow.Although, I've mostly rented places from established apartment complexes. When I've looked at places owned by individual landlords, they've always met me there, or at least, I thought it was them meeting me there.I wonder if anyone has tried to pull this on me before.
