Sara obviously had a bad experience with a real estate agent, but in any field of work there are people that are uneducated or slack at their jobs, so catagorizing all agents in that view I disagree . One mistake I saw was some investors putting too much money in upgrades and ammenities in a home and they could not recoupe the income back. Its like a pool..its a nice addition/ammenity but does it add much value to a homes value..NO.So on that note adding excessive marble, fixtures, bells and whistles to a home that just wont appraise or having the nicest home in the ghetto that you want to flip, but go crazy. All that matters is the bottom line..what it is appraised at, a buyer will pay, and profit.

I agree that whenever there is a hype of something even if we don't know what's it gonna be we tend to jump right on it without the complete knowledge of the so-much-talk-of-the-town

Number 4#, Emotionally Desperate, characterizes much of human behavior. As you advise a little distance from the frenzy of the crowd is usually warranted.

NEW INTERNATIONAL MLS
MLS Cooperation and Broker Reciprocity, USA/ Europe
We attract more buyers because:
A potential investor can deal with one Agent only, somebody known, trusted, local. Instead of searching browsing, surfing, calling, emailing, travelling. Buying in a different Country can be confusing
different languages, laws, it takes a lot of time. Too much.
The majority of Our Agents speaks more that one language, we can provide personalized assistance and a wide range of services.
Agents can attract more buyer's offering No Commission For Buyers. Unusual in Europe, where usually buyer's pays a commission!
But International is not the only issue here. For sure you know, or you will soon know, somebody who's relocating. Maybe to a different State, maybe a few miles away but out of you current MLS Jurisdiction.
So, why loose that client? IES MLS also works State to State and County to County in USA. Get a Commission instead of a Referral fee. Does this make a sense to you?
Sure we need to grow, IES MLS is a brand new service, a new type of concept. We are working hard, we are adding more Countries, more tools and more advertisement. The bright side of joining a new business:
