There is only so much space on this planet and with the population increasing the old rule of supply and demand makes it clear that property is a good buy. However if your house value is the same or lover after 10 years it is not something that is out of the ordinary, you still did well. As for buying investment properties I do not think it is a good investment, there are better places to put your money in.
