For a newbie investor like myself, it's overkill. I can honestly say that I come across so many people who are still peddling advice that will not work in the current market and are not keeping up with the current trends. It's not easy but I do feel fortunate to have connected with a few people in my area who are still investing and make sure that they keep their information and advice CURRENT.
