You need to be in it for the long haul though. If you are patient, you will make money in the end because values will always return and increase. They are at historic lows right now and potentially could drop again. Locking in a purchase today with a low fixed rate will help you win in the real estate game. I don't think now is the best time to buy because of the crisis of the economy. The banks are close to collasping and so is the auto-industry. I don't think that buying a house is a very good idea unless you are paying cold hard cash...but if you are talking about getting a loan.........forget about it.Sara This is a quite interesting questions.
