Amy, thanks for the comment and yes I totally agree. Everyone's favorite guy at the country club is the one that introduces them to a great investment. Once you give your elevator speech or finish a presentation it is effective to lead into the close by asking "Who do you know that would be interested"? If they are interested they will say so, and it will be much easier to ask for referrals. Referrals come to you with some credibility already which makes it much easier to build enough trust to get a Yes. Good question BB, in my opinion it is best when people come to you. They do this because you have built credibility in some way whether from an article you wrote, a past deal they are aware of, a referral, etc. I guess I would say wherever people like and trust you, that is the best place. There are probably more people looking for money, BB, then people giving it away. Private lenders tend to know other private lenders, so once you start to get into the circle of trust, you’ll start to have more and more opportunity. Would you agree Ryan?

In your experience, where is the best place to find these people? I don’t have a problem giving the info and I have sold a couple people on some private investments. A lot of the people I know are looking for investments themselves…
