Also, a large percentage of my clients who come to me for financing on properties they found and are in contract on from loopnet ending up falling out of the deal when they get the real apartment data from the owners.  It usually tells a different story than what the brokers post on loopnet.There are also alot of commercial only MLS sites that list a wealth of info on apartment buildings and other commercial property.  One in my area is www.commercialmls.com.
