Hi guys and gals! As you may know, I have been invited to be a regular contributor here, at the BiggerPockets real estate blog, and I want Josh Dorkin and the BiggerPockets community to know that I am very grateful for the opportunity to help.
So far, I’ve written a number of posts, and things have gone very well. You have offered fantastic feedback and thoughtful comments. I hope you love the content so far, and I’m very appreciative of your time. I’m here to help you get huge results from your marketing and sales online! I have a favor to ask you, so we can keep things rolling as strongly as possible.
As I continue to share ideas with you once a week, I’d love to get some feedback from you regarding the issues you’re facing in your real estate business. If you would be so kind as to comment this post and share the biggest concerns you have regarding your online marketing, I will make sure that all content going forward will address your concerns and more. How does that sound?
To get your thoughts flowing, let me ask you a few questions:
- Do you understand why blogging is such a powerful tool to build your business?
- Do you have any questions about email marketing and how to get better results?
- Do you want to monetize your blog but aren’t sure where to start?
- Are you one of the real estate pros who just doesn’t “get” Twitter?
- Do you struggle to find the time to blog?
- Do you fail to see the value in social media marketing?
- Are you concerned with how to get more traffic to your site?
- Does SEO blow your mind, and you don’t even know where to start?
- Are you concerned with how to get more leads and/or how to CONVERT more leads from your site?
Clearly, there is a lot to talk about when it comes to marketing yourself and effectively taking your sales and marketing strategy online.
What are your biggest concerns?
What are your biggest worries or doubts about social media marketing?
Talk to me, and I guarantee future posts will address your concerns!
Again, I’m so appreciative to be included in your community, and I look forward to helping you grow your business!

Hey Chris, thanks for this post. You’ve provided outstanding value to the BP community with your articles. I’ll get the comments started
I think for me the largest issue is generating traffic to my site to generate leads (mostly buyer leads as I use direct mail for sellers) — PPC vs. organic traffic (or a mix of both?), best SEO plug-ins to use on WP (or are they really all the same), best things to focus on (articles on multiple article directories, frequent blog posts, videos, free classified ads, social media sites, etc…do I really need to do ALL of these things or am I spinning my wheels trying to do it all..it IS a lot)
Thanks Shae! I will make a note of it and make sure I cover these things in future posts
Christian … excellent post, very intelligent … A big question I hear from agents a lot is “show me some specific ways I can use SM (facebook, twitter, youtube, etc…) to actually do more real estate business.
