NAR is obviously hoping for a turnaround.  The economy is 70% consumption which is heavily weighted with consumer confidence.   Therefore the placebo effect is pretty accurate.  If economists try to find positive signs, then consumer confidence will rise, people start spending money, and jobs are created.Hopefully the rising delinquencies don&#039;t impact prices more than another few %.
