Witnessing the decline of my old neighborhood where I grew up is what peaked my interest in real estate. When I saw that some people were renovating the houses, improving the neighborhood, and actually making a living off it, it inspired me to do the same. I began researching and studying real estate investing in 2004, and in 2006, I flipped one house although it didn't turn out quite as expected. I made some rookie mistakes but learned a great deal in the process. I've been salivating for the next opportunity ever since.

I'd like to rehab houses and flip to retail buyers. Eventually I'd like to break into the commercial side to creative passive income.
