After getting my feet wet with single family residential investing, I decided to move up to commercial property. Mainly multifamily and self storage facilities. My immediate goals are to make the most out of this recession and take advantage of the unique opportunity we are presented at this time. My long term goals are to give as much back to the community as possible by supporting non profit organizations by way of financial and hands-on contributions.
Multifamily residential and self storage facilities nationwide

Hello Eliza, The market is fairly stagnet here. Have done rehab flips, but cautious at this time because of the lack of buyers. I am told there are buyers but they are only hunting real bargins. The rental market does not support the carry cost so I am watching that market. As to the multifamily, they run even now at 5 caps, so no chance to cash flow. We are a high demand area. Listed as top 5 baby boomer retirement destinations, so if one could carry the negatives, there is money to be made at these prices. One would have to wait for the market to return. I came from Anaheim / Fullerton area. Anything I can help with? Look forward to talking more, Dean 03:27PM on October 05, 2009 · Dean Powers |
