Kest J. Cousins Multifamily acquisitions Manager
Kest Cousins started his professional career in October 1995 with a five year tour of active duty in the United States Marine Corps. Marine Corps training taught Mr. Cousins how to think independently under stressful situations and effectively manage both large and small groups of people and multi-billion dollar government assets. Upon discharge Mr. Cousins joined the California Air National Guard as an F-16 technician. He was subsequently called to active duty immediately following the 9/11 World Trade Center tragedy. His dedication and efforts directly contributed to the unit achieving full alert status within a six hour period, the best in the Combat Air Force and he was awarded numerous achievement, safety, and commendation medals for his efforts.
With 15 years of military experience, Mr. Cousins has begun the transition from the military to a private sector real estate management career path. Mr. Cousins joined The Fairmont Group part time as its single-family residential asset manager and is currently pursuing a B.S. degree in construction management. He takes every opportunity to further his education, having completed courses in raising private capital and apartment acquisition and management.
