I am a Memphis native and have had a long time interest in real estate investing/management. I am signing up on the website because I believe I am at a point in life where I can entertain the idea of actually participating in the Memphis real estate investment community. I am currently working as an engineering program manager at a major medical device manufacturer in Memphis. I manage new design project teams and evaluate organizations for possible acquisition. I have a solid understanding of business having almost 10 years of practical experience as well as obtaining an engineering degree and an Executive MBA from the University of Memphis. I am looking forward to my investing future and meeting more of the Real Estate Investing community!

Experience

I own one property in Southaven that I have had tenants in for 3 years now. I am finishing up a remodel of a family owned property in MS that will be on the market by Dec.

Real Estate Goals

Short term - I would like to start small and hopefully find a mentor(s) to help me learn more about long term investing in Memphis. I want to have a fundamental understanding of the market and the keys to success before I invest too much time and money.
Long term - I would like to own my own business investing, rehabbing and managing property in Memphis full time to support my family.
