I started as a semi-accidental landlord when I bought another farm across the road from my house that came with a house and singlewide trailer January of 2012. Since then I added two more double wide manufactured homes to an acre of the front pasture which was an interesting experience doing the full development of the site including hookup of the utilities and setting the homes. I am also slowly buying more homes in the area. My goal is to transition to using passive income from real estate investments as a primary source of income over the next five years.
