In my own words...
Looking for good deals in Utah or anywhere else in the US? I have been investing in real estate for over a decade and am looking to work with like minded individuals who want to leverage their assets to greater wealth. I have coached hundreds of students in the way of real estate investing and look forward to working with people in any level of investment. I specialize in Apartment complexes, large housing packages, getting people a good deal on their own home in Utah (foreclosures, etc) and any other type of commercial rental property. I enjoy just about anything outdoors, including hiking, camping, fishing, etc. I look forward to meeting new people as I explore possibilities through Biggerpockets.com
Real Estate Experience
Geoff was born and raised in West Jordan, Utah, receiving his Eagle Scout Award in 1994 and graduating from high school in 1998. He attended college as a senior in high school through their concurrent enrollment program and then went on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After serving two years in the Eugene Oregon Spanish Speaking Mission, Geoff continued his education in business and real estate investing. In the winter of 2002, Geoff began dating his wife, Rebecca. They were later married on July 25, 2002 in Salt Lake City. Geoff has gone on to obtain his BS Degree in Business Management for the University of Phoenix in 2007 and an accounting certificate from LDS Business College. He is currently working on his MBA and expects to graduate in 2009. He began his investing career over eight years ago when he helped a partner with a deal using creative financing. He started his first business in 2001, Gem Maintenance, which serviced large Fortune 500 companies like Walgreen's and US Maintenance. He sold the company in 2004 at a 300% return. He has since bought and sold numerous properties using several creative financing techniques in the process. He has studied courses from gurus like Carleton Sheets, Robert Kiyosaki, LeGrand Richards, and others in order to further his investment knowledge helping others. He obtained a real estate agent's license in the State of Utah in 2002 and has since gone on to obtain a Utah State Broker's license in 2007 and opened a brokerage called Return Real Estate focused on teaching investment techniques to clients, see www.ReturnRealEstate.com. He continues to invest in several projects, and has bought several more investments in the Salt Lake, Kansas City, and many other markets. Geoff has extensive experience with creative financing, short sales, partnering, foreclosures, and market analysis. He has spent the last three years teaching these concepts to hundreds of students all over the world! He has numerous rental units, has worked on several development projects, and is always looking to partner with people.
