I grew up in a very small logging community in central Oregon. I wanted to escape the trap of working in a mill and had a desire to see the world, so I joined the military at age 17 and spent the next 21 years traveling the world. I've lived all over, learned German, and gained a lot of great friends and experiences throughout. After service I tried my hand at social work but couldn't find a full-time position here, so I decided to pursue my dream of real estate. Five months into it, and God's blessed me with a thriving business and things couldn't be better!

Experience

I bought my first investment property in 2004. I am now a licensed real estate agent and Property Manager in Wyoming. I own American West Realty & Management, LLC where I manage 120 properties for nearly 40 owners. I'm pretty new to the game, but have extensive experience from my military years, a strong work ethic, great organizational skills, and treat people honestly and fairly. It's amazing how easy it is to shine when you work hard and are honest with people!

Real Estate Goals

I had two goals when starting real estate: be in the top 10% for sales within two years and own my own company within five years. It's my first year and I've already met my second goal and am working on my first! Praise the Lord for that!

My final goal is to purchase a certain number of rental properties with positive cash flow. I'll use the cash flow from each property to pay off the cheapest first, and then work my way up. Once all the properties are paid off, I'll sell my business and live off the cash flow and then slowly start selling them off and socking away the equity.
