I decided I wanted to be an investor after a parent career day in elementary school. On this particular day the father of one of my classmates came in to tell us about his job as a stockbroker. I distinctly remember how fascinated I was by the power and beauty of investing and I could only wonder what it must be like to be a market participant. I've been investing in some way or another ever since. To date, my focus has been corporate equity and I made a career out of advising corporations on how to invest their money. Only recently have I turned by attention to real estate but I am looking forward to the experience and the opportunity to develop new skills and relationships.
