Learning how to help solve others' problems while generously compensating myself for good work.

Experience

REI for >5 years; focusing now on foreclosure auctions, wholesaling, mortgage assignment, and lease options.

Early on, I stabilized and repositioned a multifamily property in central/western Maine, doubling rents in the process, then sold it (for arguably more than RE market prices at the time might have indicated- it was hard to tell, because the property is anomalous: the only 4-family in the region), to a neighbor- who has expressed satisfaction with his purchase ever since- perhaps in part because I did so much fixing up. Another neighbor there expressed frank amazement that there actually might be landlords such as myself who really care, and a third neighbor told me the whole neighborhood / area improved "110%" after I bought the property and started making improvements (many of them simple- such as working with tenants to pick up their belongings from the yards to store in the basement).
