I've been indunating myself during the last several months learning about real estate investing. Since I have no husband and no children, I've decided that I want to get involved in real estate as a path to financial freedom as well as a great retirement.

My first step is to work with a wholesale, REO buyer of SFR as a birddog; I've already met the person I want to work with. After I get my feet wet, I'll be moving into buying and flipping, followed by buying and holding.

I was born and raised in Southern California near the beach and am very spoiled when it comes to the weather and a relaxed way of life.
