Real Estate Experience
Mr. Grella is one of the founders of Cornerstone Funding Services, Inc. and shares in the vision to demystify the process of commercial real estate financing for investors and developers across the country and abroad.
Mr. Grella attended Lehigh University where he studied Civil and Structural Engineering. He would later go on to become a design engineer with Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, based in Elmwood Park, NJ. There, he specialized in residential, commercial, and industrial design, working with clients like Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Target, and many municipalities including the State of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Florida, among others. He’s also conducted many studies tracking the impact of new development on both the economy and the environment.
In working with large national developers Mr. Grella was aware of the challenges that came with commercial financing. As such, he transitioned from designing projects to helping finance them. He became a senior loan officer with several residential and commercial financiers responsible for originating loans to homeowners, developers, and investors wishing to expand financing opportunities beyond the traditional lending institutions.
Mr. Grella is a member of the Urban Land Institute, an international organization which provides leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. Mr. Grella serves as chairman of the Young Leader’s Group communications committee, a select team of Puget Sound real estate professionals under the age of 35.
Mr. Grella also serves on the finance committee of High Point, Seattle’s award winning, master-planned community with over 1,000 homes under management. As such, he understands the market thoroughly and has worked creatively to help his clients understand all the options they have when purchasing, developing, refinancing, or selling their property.
Mr. Grella and his wife reside in Seattle, WA and have personally invested in real estate across the country.
