I live in NYC. I am looking to invest in NYC area or the Raleigh NC area (I have a good friends down there and think it is a solid market)
I have been a stock trader for 13 years. Been slowly diversifying into real estate
I have been a hard money lender in NY for 2 years now. The 4 deals I have done so far are all backed by solid properties at good LTV's
I just recently bought my first unit in Raleigh. My goal is too hold this unit for many, many years. It is cash flow positive. I am looking to buy more units in the Raleigh area.
Slowly buy up units in growing cities during this downturn. I want good locations, in good neighborhoods that are at least slightly cash flow positive. With rates being so low, I think in 10 years from now we will look back at these years and say how good of an opportunity it was.
