I am a college student in IL, I stumbled upon foreclosures/distressed properties by attending a "sales pitch". Convinced that I didn't need to spend money I didn't have to learn something that was public knowledge, I began research and here i am!

Recently, i started to move away from foreclosures and, broadening my horizons, began to investigate wholesaling properties as well as creative financing techniques.

Mr. Rice, sounds like things are going good on your end. The last 2 weeks I have been doing some reading.One book is titled 40 days to success in Real Estate Investing by Robert Shemin and the other is The Part-Time Real Estate Investor . I bought that one because I work full-time, and I am doing this on the side until the ball is rolling.
