Memphis, Tennessee
I'm a real estate entrepreneur - investor and agent.
Most of my experience as an agent has revolved around flat fee listings and REOs with a smattering of "regular" retail stuff. And as an investor, I own and manage a few residential rentals, but most of my experience (and liking) lies in the arena of flipping real estate.
I'm also an avid blogger and advocate for my "fellow man" real estate investor.
I founded and ran our local REIA group (Memphis Investors Group) for 6 years, before retiring from that in 2006.
I'm also way into social media and Web 2.0.
I've been an investor since sometime in 2000, which is also the same year I started our local REIA group (which I ran for 6 years).
Most of my focus has been in the wholesale / quick-flip arena, but a few rehabs, some rentals and a spattering of other things.
I like quick-in and quick-out deals these days. Not interested in rentals anymore - can't stand managing tenants and toilets, nor managing those that manage them. :-/
So wholealing suits me well. Also got a hankering for flipping notes, but only tried it once so far.
