In my own words...

I am a real estate investor, who has alot of real etate experience, and also have invested in a more traditional way in past years. Since 2007 I have been in the education process, learning investment strategies. My "day job" is as a VP of Property Management for a Developer managing retail and office properties. I am now launching into the more creative side of investing, and plan to build wealth through wholesale transactions, and eventually build a portfolio of rental properties, mostly single family and small commercial properties.

Real Estate Experience

I started selling real estate in Dallas Texas in the early 80's, and then fell into property management. I have experience leasing and managing various types of real estate, including single family homes, office buildings, industrial and apartments. I have bought and eventually sold six single family personal homes, and owned 5 rental houses. I still have a few in another state. I am currently involved in making lease purchase deals, and acquiring control over houses in my area. I have made a few wholesale deals and am still learning that process. I have five under control now and have several in the works. I have made a few wholesale deals and am still learning and improving on that process. I currently live in Minneapolis, MN managing retail and office properties, and investing in real estate part time.

Real Estate Goals

I launched my investment plans in 2008 right away. I set up my parameters, and done all the preliminary set up. Still in the learning process, and probably always will be. I started taking action, and saw how quickly I could get in the thick of the investment process, making offers, and buying properties. My goal is to wholesale single family houses in the Twin Cities area, putting together a nest egg that I can use to buy houses and small commercial properties, for rental. I also am planning to do lease purchase and subject to buying as often as the market allows. I am still experimenting with different marketing techniques. I want to eventually be able to retire from my day job and concentrate on full time investing!
