I have been a landlord (accidentally, initially) since 2005. In 2010, I began to look at REI as an opportunity to take myself out of the slavery system of working just to pay bills, and begin to live my dreams, and do what I want to do, when I want to - a way to FREEDOM. So I began investing, and I purchased 9 units in a matter of 6 months. Most of them are cheap buy-and-holds, and one is a flipper.

Hubby and I plan to flip 4 properties this year (2011), and purchase another 7-10 for rentals.

Funding, funding and more funding. I'm always looking for a way to fund more deals.
