Brad In Colo
Real Estate Investor

Real Estate Experience
I did a bit of investing back in the early '90s and I've got a few deals under my belt from that time, including three pre-foreclosure SFHs, two of which I flipped and one I held as a rental for a few years. I also purchased two lots at a school board auction, one of which I flipped while building a spec house on the other.
Over the years, I've disposed of everything but a few acres in the foothills where I live.
I consider myself to be just a (small) step above a newbie investor. I'm looking forward to getting back into the game with the difference being, this time I have a couple of nickels to rub together.
Real Estate Goals
I'm hearing lots of doom and gloom in real estate again, so I figure it must be about time to start buying.
My plan is to focus on solid cash flowing properties, buying and holding them for the long term. I'd like to pick up $2M to $3M worth of properties in the next five to seven years and have them paid off in fifteen or so. Of course: "No battle plan survives contact with tenants," so we'll see how it goes... should be fun!
