Colorado Springs, Colorado
I represent buyers and sellers in the communities of Colorado Springs and Pueblo West.
As a businesswoman I believe "Trees are grounded in the Earth, but reach for the sky."
Late April is a long way off from Christmas, but the gift I received one spring became my most cherished present. As a fourth grader in my native state, Connecticut, I received a sapling as part of a townwide Arbor Day celebration. I remember my family helping me plant the small Maple tree outside my bedroom window. When I brought it home, the tree was barely as tall as I was. Over the years, I diligently cared for and nurtured the tree and watched with excitement as it grew big and strong.
Tree of Life
If you haven't guessed by now, I love trees. For me, these majestic life forms are a metaphor for life. In practical terms, trees benefit the environment, provide safe haven for many animals and birds, and present a cool shady spot perfect to wile away an afternoon. Trees constantly strive to grow stronger and literally reach for the sky. Ask those who know me best and they'll agree that this is an apt description for my approach to life. I am the type of individual with my feet firmly on the ground but always reaching higher to achieve my goals.
Learning Tree
Growing up, my second love was books. Through books, I can escape to exotic places and satisfy my endless appedite for knowledge. During my 22-year career in the Army, I had the opportunity to take courses in more than a dozen universities all over the world. I have both a bachelor's and master's degree in information systems management, and credits education for enabling me to branch out in my career. As a Chief Warrant Officer, I worked at high security communications centers and was responsible for the handling and distribution of classified codes and ciphers. Education is on going for me. Today I still take college courses, whether for pleasure or to enhance my business skills.
