The only sports activity ever involved with is Western Horse Back Riding where the horse does all the hard work! No longer won a horse though.
Started in the mortgage brokerage industry back in 1986 when mortgage brokerage was in its infancy. There were hardly a handful of wholesale lenders in California and information very hard to come by.
Built the company up to about 16 employees and survived through a couple of recessions and an earthquake.
March of 2007 my lease was up for renewal. I could see the writing on the wall and decided to close the offices down rather than renew the lease… In another 6 months the bottom fell out of the mortgage business!
A friend of mine who was also in the mortgage brokerage business talked me into the bulk foreclosed property acquisition and I went along.
To build a portfolio of houses sold on land Contracts and use the experience and expertise to form partnerships and do it over and over so long as this type of bulk foreclosure market exists.
REO’s in lots of 10 to 30 or there about. Preferably, in low to moderate income neighborhoods. Not interested in high end properties. We buy for cash.
