I am an agent with 15 years experience here in the Pocono Mountains of PA. My market area is unique in that it is a prime commuting location to NYC and Philadelphia, being only 90 minutes to each. Property values are less far less than that of neighboring NJ and the tax base is as well. With a major state University (East Stroudsburg U) in the heart of the area, there is a great opportunity for investment return on rental units aside from the standard rentals that exist on our non-college market.
