As one of the first Re/Max brokers in Michigan, Rick retired from Re/max with the honor of having been inducted into the 2002 Re/Max Hall of Fame, to open his own real estate brokerage—Emporio Casa Real Estate Services. Emporio Casa Real Estate Services translates into “Emperors Home” in Italian. The company was established to become a leader in multi-lingual and international real estate services including relocations. Emporio Casa is successful in their mission during this economic downturn. Over 2,000 families have experienced “Emperors Home” royal service.

Rick has attained his CRS “Certified Residential Specialist” professional designation as well as placed amongst only 25 Realtors in the country to have received the prestigious Master Salesperson’s Platinum Award, for demonstrating the highest skill level in real estate marketing.

Rick also serves as a partner with Med-Mar Homes, which provide's site acquisition, home design, engineering, and construction services all under one roof. Med-Mar Homes specializes in the residential and commercial-retail aspects of the building industry. Rick also serves as Founding Partner of Land Contract One
