In order to have a profitable real estate investing business, you must be closing profitable deals. This means you must attract leads constantly and convert them from prospects to successful real estate transactions.

Here are a few tips to attract business by effective SEO.

A real estate investor website is a mandatory tool for real estate investing that does the work of telling your story for you. Most importantly, through effective search engine optimization (SEO), the website can build your business by attracting and converting leads for you.

Search engine optimization is the process of making sure your website gets higher up in search engine results than your competition.

Effective SEO must involve a few key elements to be synchronized so that your website ranks better than your competitors. First, search engine optimization involves a 2-part process:

i) On-site SEO - On-site SEO involves making sure your selected keywords appear in title, meta description and content. We have discussed these terminologies in detail in a separate article.

ii) Off-site SEO - this involves building links from other websites to your website.

To be effective you must make sure a few elements are in place:

i) Keywords - Most people type phrases on search engines that describe what they are looking for. These phrases are called keywords or key phrases.

The first step in search engine optimization is to get the best keywords in your niche. Remember that it might not be possible to optimize one page for all the keywords. Sometimes a simple keyword research could yield 20 or more keywords.

Just choose the strongest keywords that are likely to bring you the best results.

ii) Market region - you probably buy and sell houses from a particular geographical area. This targeted SEO delivers clients right in your local market.

iii) Separate keywords into relevant content - chances are that your website has several pages, each talking about different things you do. Creating separate pages for different sets of similar keywords allows you to target those keywords better.

The result will be that most of your keywords will be represented on your website but in separate pages.

iv) Keyword stuffing - avoid stuffing keywords on any web page on your website. Web pages are ranked by how relevant their content is. You make matters worse by stuffing keywords.

Search engines can also blacklist your website.

v) Anchor links - back links are created by posting relevant content such as articles in article directories.

The anchor link to your website must be a keyword. For example, I see a lot of links saying "Click here". Links going to your website should be real keywords.

vi) PR rating - page rank determines the strength of a link. Page rank ranges from 0 to 10. a PR of 10 has more SEO juice than one of 0, etc Targeting stable website with high PR yields better results for you.

vii) Deep linking - creating back links to inner pages is called deep linking. Although most people visit your home page, keywords on inner pages may form a door-way to your website.

viii) Duplicate content - as much as possible, avoid posting duplicate content on different websites. Better re-write the content several times and spin it.
