I&#8217;d sit in traffic and be angry at the person ahead of me. And then when I got to work I&#8217;d watch the minutes tick by\u20149:01, 9:02, 9:03&#8230; waiting for my day to end so I could go home and actually live my real life. I remember that pit in my stomach on Sunday night when I knew that the next morning I&#8217;d have to do it all over again.<\/p>\n<p>I remember that. And many of you are struggling with that every week\u2014and every day. Even if you love your job, maybe you&#8217;re thinking, <em>Y<\/em><em>ou know what? I don&#8217;t want to do this forever. I want something else. You have to work for it. Grass does not magically grow. To get the life I wanted, I planted the fertilizer on my lawn and watered it regularly. And this is how you&#8217;re going to become a millionaire. Are you fired up and truly committed to using real estate to obtain financial freedom? Yes or no? A lot of you guys are excited. You&#8217;re pumped up; you&#8217;re ready to go. But there&#8217;s a problem with this excitement. You can absorb all the information you&#8217;ll ever need, but knowledge alone isn&#8217;t enough. You&#8217;ll need to do something else.<\/p>\n<h3>Take Action<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-main-slider wp-image-119334\" src=\"https:\/\/www.biggerpockets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/investing-702x336.jpg\" alt=\"real-estate-action\" width=\"702\" height=\"336\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>What is the key to success? It&#8217;s taking <em>action<\/em>. Do something to achieve those dreams. Get off your your butt and analyze a deal. Make those phone calls that you&#8217;re afraid to make. Pay that earnest money to lock in a deal. Network by joining <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biggerpockets.com\/pro\/welcome\" target=\"_blank\">BiggerPockets Pro<\/a>. Maybe you want to invest outside your local area. That means taking the time to travel\u2014possibly flying across the country\u2014to check on a long-distance property. Most importantly, take action and do it consistently.<\/p>\n<h2>Commit to Your Goal<\/h2>\n<p>There&#8217;s power in the words that we write and speak. So I want you to yell out your goal\u2014or maybe just write it. Tell a friend or family member what you&#8217;re working toward.<\/p>\n<p>Are you committed to this thing\u2014not just desiring it? There&#8217;s a big difference between desire and commitment, but do you truly want it?
