Today's payday.  I went to the Post Office to get the checks.  I still need 3 more yet.  One isn't due until the 6th because that tenant is on SSI and SSI checks are recieved on the 3rd of the month.

I stopped by my 6 unit apartment today to see how the furnace exchange was coming along.  It's not done yet and as of today I am offically required to turn on the heat.  It doesn't look like it's going to get done until Monday or Tuesday.  All i can do is pray for warm weather so my tenants don't get cold.  I'm going to talk to the HVAC guys tomorrow to ask if I can come in and help so it'll get done faster.  I'm also still working with the natural gas company to get them in there to put in the meter.  He was supposed to call me today but didn't.

I'm also working on my books.  Books are a love hate relationship for me.  I love seeing how my investments are doing but I hate that they take a while to work on them.

I called my Realtor today to appoligize for missing his RE auction on Saturday.  I had it in my calendar as Sunday.  He also told me he had a lead on a doublewide that two people thus far have not been able to close because there is a sticker missing from the home.  With out this sticker the home will not "conform" for regular loans.  So they are now looking for a cash buyer.  I'm not really into mobile homes but I might throw out some ridiclous offer out there to see if I can snag up a super deal.

I ended my day by going to the library and dropping off the Trump book I borrowed The Art of the Comeback and I picked up two more audiobooks, Zig Zigler - 5 steps to successful selling and William Ury - Getting Past No. I listened to my iPod today for about an hour, it was playing The E-myth.  This is my second time listening to this book because it was so good and I know i missed important things the first time I read it.  As you can see reading and learning about running businesses is always tops on my business priorities list.  That's one of the reasons I love this website so much.
