Marketing Properties via FaceBook

Here are 4 Pro Tips for marketing a property on FaceBook. The first 2 are more obvious than the last 2.

1. Provide high quality photos--2 exterior, at least 5 interior.

2. Provide contact information that's not your FB contact info if you aren't on FB constantly throughout the day. If you check FB once a day, you may miss out on a potential deal.

3. Post your property between 2 and 3 p.m. Research shows that the highest viewing period is between 2 and 4 p.m. You want your property at the top of the list.

4. Create a business FB account. You can "boost" showings to a targeted audience for a nominal cost. You can target within a radius of the town where the property is located, and target key words dealing with real estate.

  1. We drove some solid traffic to a rehab that we completed. One thing I would suggest is to make sure that you monitor the ad throughout the day if you can. 

    We had a lady who (for some reason) was mad about us rehabbing the property. So she was posting all kinds of derogatory remarks on our ads. She was an elderly lady in her 70's. I think she just didn't like the change/gentrification of the area.
