This is my beginning.

 First, I've always been a little interested in real estate. How do they change a little wall here, or add a trellis there and make a house look completely different and fabulous?? BUT, I have never wanted to be a Realtor! (Sorry, Realtors! I know there's a few good ones out there!) So, when I heard about real estate investing, it got my attention. Yes, I saw an infomercial on a Saturday, skipping through the channels. And yes, I went to the "FREE" meeting. And yes, I signed up for the NOT SO FREE weekend workshop. Then I left town. We travel a lot, so it's normal. I wasn't skipping out! I got the call. Some of you know what I'm talking about. And yes, I signed away my money for this fabulous training that would teach me everything I needed to know about real estate! I kinda wish I woulda found bigger pockets first! Anyway, I do think I would never have gotten here if I didn't sign up for those courses. I probably would still be gathering information and thinking it would be so great to invest in real estate. Since I do have money on the line, I've been doing everything possible to learn all I can about real estate. I found bigger pockets through one of my many web searches. And I LOVE IT!!! This site is so resourceful...I can't even begin to name them all. Check it out for yourself! 

SO for the last two months, I've been looking at properties. And making offers. And looking at more properties. And making more offers. And today, I got my first accepted offer!!! I'm so excited! And nervous!! I'm completely freaking out!!! There's so much to do!! And things were just starting to slow down actually! Now I get to do the fun job of inspections, getting bids for rehabbing, and starting this project! I hope it all goes as well as I have it figured in my head!
